Pure hydrocarbons production site in the field of Research, Fuels, Manufacturing, Refrigerants & Propellants.

History

Small seveso site, huge versatility, huge flexibility

Air Liquide Aalter, created in 1978, is an internationally recognised supplier of pure hydrocarbons to the global gas industry and has the widest range of high-purity hydrocarbons available on the European market.

Pure hydrocarbons are used by our customers to make mixtures or produced to supply to the petrochemical, process or research industries. Pure hydrocarbons are also used by end customers as refrigerants and propellants.

All these hydrocarbons are produced and supplied from our Aalter plant in cylinders (from 10 to 126 liters), drums, bundles or trailers.

Products

Two grades to ensure your optimal performance

Air Liquide offers a wide range of pure gaseous hydrocarbons to suit your specific applications :

Near the filling of industrial natural gas, Air Liquide offers 10 differents hydrocarbons molecules splitted in different qualities.

Explanation of the digits :

  • The first one indicates the number of nines purity (example : N20 = 99.00 % purity)
  • The second one indicates the number following the last nine (example : N25 = 99.5 % purity)
